I Wasn’t On The Bill. I Ain’t Comin.

Hip hop is built on authenticity. MOECYRUS (Aight Bet frontman if you weren’t aware)  isn’t interested in chasing trends or waiting for someone else’s approval.

This summer, he’s preparing to release his newest LP, I Wasn’t On The Bill. I Ain’t Comin. The vibes I get from the title infer a chip on your shoulder attitude which is known to bring out the fiercest of emcees. Intriguing, I'm here for it all!

MOECYRUS latest LP arrives this summer 2026. I Wasn’t On The Bill. I Ain’t Comin will be available on cassette tape, CD, and vinyl. That itself is super cool to see especially in todays world. An artist once told me he goes out of his way to always support those with physical media. The best way to support an artist, really. I also think artists that go through the work to release physical media add mystique to their own projects and elevate the appeal.

MOECYRUS is featuring a palate of reputable names that are bound to pique your interest in bumping the record on the day it drops. The LP contains appearances from Vic Spencer, WRDS, A.M. Early Morning, CECE BKE, $CantByDeem, Yung Tact, Racesar, Rdynasty, and Alex Uridel, by just looking at those names I can tell this project is deeply connected to the Chicago hip hop community.

On the production side, he champions beats by B4Lasers, Chris Ruben, Vinny Idol, Frequentlyflyer, Kangstro, b0nds, Yungcityslicka, and MOECYRUS himself. Being able to produce for yourself is super cool and adds another layer of respect to the art.

I Wasn’t On The Bill. I Ain’t Comin was recorded at Classick Studios, mixed by Jeff Arenson, and features cover art by Alexander Parnassus. The cover art has a classic comic book aesthetic, it looks like if MOECYRUS had those Static Shock powers with the Doctor Doom gloves, really cool. I always love covers like that.

At a time when a lot of artists are chasing algorithms and trying to fit into whatever sound is currently popular, I Wasn’t On The Bill. I Ain’t Comin. feels like the opposite. Its an artist standing firm on who he is and what he brings to the table.

And honestly? In today’s music industry, that’s a message a lot of us can probably relate to. Fan and artist alike.

Summer 2026 is here, Chicago’s own MOECYRUS looks ready to make sure nobody forgets his name; whether he was on the bill or not.
