Just Move with Dutch 3 Times

Its not everyday as an emcee and recording artist that you just randomly connect with an artist who is just as oriented into music industry community building as I am. I mean that quite literally, artists such as Dutch 3 Times are far and few between. He's been super active in these multiple IG group chats where he connects artists together, adds them to already built out playlists, and voila... Dutch 3 Times is doing more than like 99% of artists I come across.
On Aug 21st, "Just Move" by Dutch 3 Times arrives on all platforms but I've been given the privilege of an early listen via SoundCloud.
The track is a straight vibe and bop, especially for the ladies (and the ladies that work out). I could see this record being HUGE in the female gym culture. The record begins with a breathy and whispery type of flow where Dutch 3 Times interpolates and pays homage to the Yin Yang Twins's The Whisper Song. If you don't know what that is you may not be old enough to be reading this article. And I would highly recommend looking up that music video and song before you continue reading because context is always important.
Paying homage to something that came before you while reinventing the theme for your own artistry is an amazing skill to have. An artist like Dutch 3 Times has to tow the line between originality and making something derivative. When you bump this song, it feels FRESH, and thats not an easy thing to do. People either love it, or they hate it when it comes to paying homage, but if you feel the grooves of "Just Move" you'll be an instant Dutch 3 Times fan.
"Just Move" has a slight melody to both the hook and the verses with subtle yet effective auto tune. Dutch 3 Times has an appreciation for the feminine form and shape; the ladies will definitely enjoy these vibes. This song makes me feel like I can moonwalk naked in some slipper (or maybe a bathrobe we can keep it modest because the song will turn up the heat)
A few lines that really stood out..."Slow motion is better than no motion." A line obviously that the hustlers and folks on the grind will relate to; putting in some work is better than nothing. We can all relate to that. And on the flip side with this double entendre he'd rather see a woman shake it a little bit, dance just a tad, then not at all, and I think men and women alike regardless can agree to that. Everyone loves to see a woman dance, its one of the most beautiful things. "Back and forth like the US Open"... who doesn't appreciate a good professional tennis reference? Maybe Wimbledon in Dutch 3 Times next drop? One can imagine the very pendulum like nature of a womans hips, thighs, and butt swaying back and forth like a tennis match. A metaphor of life, some motion > no motion.
Just move and let your body go (to this record), do it how you do when ya do it with no clothes, everybody looking, you're the star of the show. The hook is a vibe along with its glossy and crispy production. Dutch 3 Times nails a feeling that only a fraction of male artists could ever actually pull off, and thats making music for the ladies (and vicariously, the guys as well!) If Dutch 3 Times continues to put out fun records like "Just Move", I can see him being wildly successful.
